    New Acropolis Museum Opening

    The Athens New Acropolis Museum, designed by the Swiss architect Bernard Tschumi, is finally opening its doors on June 20, 2009.

    The 130 million Euro structure will display 4,000 artifacts from the Archaic, Classical and Roman periods and is expected to attract two million visitors every year.
